This past Sunday, Britto and I dropped Keaton off to play some hoops and decided to start learning the area a bit. We had been hearing about old town Fredricksburg. And we had also noticed that the river was a hot spot during the summer to hang and cool off. It always looks like folks are having a great time there so we decided to find out how to get there too. Well, we found it. And in the process of finding that we came upon an reenactment camp. These foks were dressed in period dress and there were some real nice old ladies there to share some history about the area with us. They told us that Pocohantas's mother was from here in the Falmouth area, down the road from Stafford. So, they deduce that Pocohantas spent a lot of time here. That is one of the true parts of her life that Disney did not capture. Damn it!!! Well, anyway, we had a fun day and will go back and spend more time.

Sounds like fun. That's quite the tall hat on the last picture. I'm glad you've been able to venture out and do what you enjoy so much!
